Keith Titanium Cup

Something so seemingly unimportant yet it makes a big difference to every day. At least, it does for me. A perfect cup for a perfect chai.

For more or less € 50 this is an exorbitant cuppa tea. I find the price outrageous but bought it nevertheless, because 4 things were at play and the donation I received made it easier for me to splurge on only one cup that met all my desires.

1. Double walled so the tea would stay warm longer.

2. A lid to prevent heat going out from above.

3. A cup without handle where I could warm my hands onto in cold weather but not scald them.

4. A small size so I could have a refill thus more enjoyment of cups of tea and a fire to prepare them on.

I had a titanium cup before that was single walled and had a handle and I wasn’t too upset when a wild animal took it overnight from my outdoor fireplace. But I came to appreciate titanium, not so much for the lightweight of it as more for the sleek material and perfect comfort of it.

The price is very high!

Unfortunately, this cup had some logs fallen on it and got bad dents into it. I expected titanium to be much stronger?

Bought online from a Chinese company and I think that was the reason that I got no customers service (which I would have liked after the cup got smashed a bit too much to my liking).

I use the cup every day at home. It warms my hands in cold temperatures. The rim is not getting hot that it burns my lips, which a single wall cup does.

I’ve just started to think about getting a titanium cup and spoon. It was helpful to read here about single versus double walled benefits. When I die my daughter will inherit a bit of cash, several bicycles, a ukulele and really nice and well loved camping gear. I hope she uses them all!

That sounds like a beautiful inheritance, especially when she gets the same spirit as her dad. Not that I know you, but you must be outdoorsish : )

I ordered a titanium spoon too and fork, chopsticks and two other items. It’s stuck at customs: (

These titanium things are just so beautiful!
