Certainty is mindless

Not at all sure that I could pull it off but absolutely sure that I would go on Thursday I set off by bicycle to Spain. I did not check the route nor the distance, the only certainty is that I have to go. Embedded in my mind the long gone past of touring Europe, yet my garden still gets absolute care. Care to the extend that Geo and I start killing rats by hand, since we haven’t cats. Rats and vole do disturb the growth of plants and I want to keep my garden food secured. I am not sure when I will be back, because however certain I am, I also feel a big doubt.

My best cycle ride!

Thinking back about Atacama reveals it was the best ride ever! Reason enough to share this post. I had this short write-up done as ‘The story behind the pouch (my creative embroidery projects)’, so you’ll see some creativity pass by. Don’t let that withhold you, its really about the good old cycling lifestyle. Fully emerged and a total ball of bliss! WOOOOOHAAAAAA….

World Cycling

Counted nearly 50.000 kilometers in about 5 years, more or less continously solo pedaling through more than 40 countries. I started off in Africa, where I cycled first through Europe to get accustomed to the cycling lifestyle. When my bicycle broke down I went back to Europe to have the bicycle fixed and continued on, among other countries, via Iraq and Iran. The highlight and also the downfall of my cycling odyssey happened in South America.
