Pack-A-Pouch

CINDYneedleart in a nutshell: beautifying fabrics born of a desire to be creative while traveling. The beautified fabric becoming a pouch. And a pouch can be as well an artful creation and yet keeping its practicality.

Want to add a bit of extra beauty to where ever your ride takes you? Or just when you are at home? My pouches and purses are made to add beauty to every day moments. That is why I started to create them. They are all made at camp spots, some marvelous, some less exciting but the pouches are always an enhancement to the senses. A pouch not to take along, only to store precious stuff. Or just a tiny money pouch to secure safely in your bra, or else where…

Colorfull and not the usual outdoor design, all hand made and not one similar to another.

Pouches where the sign of consumerism is absent, where time does not matter.

Slow processes of vacant fabric transforming to a simple form of art.

And often made while I am traveling.

If not created while traveling, then they are still nomadically justified!

All pouches are on my creative website CINDYneedleart.

Short stories with inspirational images are sprouting up from now on. They are about what happens in the moments between adventures? Some read, some write and others… embroider. I won’t bore you with needle techniques nor which sort of threads I use. But pleasant to read, short write-ups what happens in between the adventures.

Years of traveling brought me many different insights, philosophies and places I needed to be. I lived in Pakistan, went over 15 times to India and when I stopped cycling the world, that was after 50.000 kilometer through 45 countries, I met Geo. Together we now explore many facets of life, including those by foot, by truck, by motorbike and by kickbike. Being an artist who's chasing the simple life, I keep embroidering in the abundance nature offers me. The pouches I create are for sale on www.cindyneedleart.wordpress.com
